WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash extensions are an advanced technique designed to lengthen and thicken your natural lashes. Each extension is a single strand, curved to mimic the look of a natural lash. At Lash Dolls, we use only the highest quality extensions, including Silk and Cashmere, for a luxurious, long-lasting result.

HOW WILL THEY LOOK + FEEL?

When applied they will look completely natural, only much longer and fuller. They will feel like your own eyelashes.

HOW LONG WILL MY FIRST APPOINTMENT TAKE?

I take my time with all of my clients and will not rush your appointment.

You can expect your first appointment to take approximately 75-120 minutes.

HOW LONG WILL MY LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks.

WHAT IS A FILL + HOW OFTEN DO I GET ONE?

A fill is where we remove grown out lashes and add new eyelash extensions to all of your regrowth. Our lash clients walk out with a completely new set of eyelashes every time.

Fills are done every two to three weeks depending on care and how quickly your eyelashes grow. An eyelash extension fill take a shorter time to do and the prices reflect that.

Over 4 weeks is considered a full, new set

WHY DO I LOSE LASHES?

Due to the natural growth cycle of your lashes you will find your natural eyelashes shed as new ones grow in.

We recommend getting a fill every two to three weeks to fill in lashes on the new growth

WILL THESE DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

That depends—yes and no.

Yes, your natural lashes can be damaged if you go to an untrained technician who uses inferior products not designed for long-lasting wear.

No, if extensions are applied properly by a certified, trained technician using high-quality products, they should not cause damage.

At Lash Dolls, we use only the best products and ensure every client understands proper aftercare to maintain optimal lash health and long-lasting results!

ARE ALLERGIC REACTIONS COMMON?

True allergic reactions to lash extensions are rare, but if they do occur, you may still wear extensions with some adjustments to aftercare. However, eye infections are more common and usually result from improper cleaning and care. Failing to wash your lashes regularly—especially within the first 24 hours—can lead to infections and premature lash loss. Think of it like not washing your hair for weeks—it’s not good for your lashes!

At Lash Dolls Milwaukee, we offer an alternative adhesive called UV LED Beam Light. This adhesive is cured instantly under UV light, eliminating fumes and reducing the risk of allergic reactions. In fact, 8 out of 10 clients who’ve had allergic reactions to traditional adhesives don’t experience any issues with this option. It’s available as an add-on: $30 for a full set and $20 for a fill.

CAN I USE LASH GROWTH PRODUCTS WHILE HAVING LASH EXTENSIONS?

Lash growth products containing steroids can alter the composition of your lashes and accelerate the shedding cycle, so we cannot guarantee the outcome with these products. However, natural lash growth products that contain peptides are a great option and will have no negative impact on the longevity of your extensions.

WILL I STILL NEED TO USE MASCARA?

No! And actually... using mascara over top of your lash extensions damages the curl.
