WHAT ARE LASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash extension is an advanced technique that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. They are single strands of lashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. We use only quality extensions, Silk and Cashmere.

HOW WILL THEY LOOK + FEEL?

When applied they will look completely natural, only much longer and fuller. They will feel like your own eyelashes.

HOW LONG WILL MY FIRST APPOINTMENT TAKE?

I take my time with all of my clients and will not rush your appointment.

You can expect your first appointment to take approximately 75-120 minutes.

HOW LONG WILL MY LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Lash extensions last through a full growth cycle of natural eyelashes, typically six to eight weeks.

WHAT IS A FILL + HOW OFTEN DO I GET ONE?

A fill is where we remove grown out lashes and add new eyelash extensions to all of your regrowth. Our lash clients walk out with a completely new set of eyelashes every time.

Fills are done every two to three weeks depending on care and how quickly your eyelashes grow. An eyelash extension fill take a shorter time to do and the prices reflect that.

Over 4 weeks is considered a full, new set

WHY DO I LOSE LASHES?

Due to the natural growth cycle of your lashes you will find your natural eyelashes shed as new ones grow in.

We recommend getting a fill every two to three weeks to fill in lashes on the new growth

WILL THESE DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

That depends, yes and no.

Yes, your natural lashes can be damaged if you go to someone who was not properly trained and who uses inferior products not intended for long wear.

No, extensions properly applied by a certified, trained technician who uses quality products should not.

Lash Dolls uses the best products and discusses and explains proper aftercare with all of their clients - to ensure the BEST lash health and longevity!

ARE ALLERGIC REACTIONS COMMON?

True allergic reactions do happen, but are rare. If you have developed an allergic reaction you may still wear extensions with some changes made to the aftercare process. What is more common is eye infection due to improperly washing and caring for your lashes. Waiting 24 hours to wash lashes and not washing your eyelashes the entire time you wear them are the most common causes of infections. Imagine not washing the hair on your head for weeks or months. This is the most common reason wearers lose their lashes prematurely.

At Lash Dolls Milwaukee we do offer an alternative adhesive option called UV LED BEAM LIGHT. The adhesive is cured immediately under the light causing immediate curing and no fumes and 8 out of 10 clients who have had allergic reactions in the past to lash extension adhesive do not have it with this option. It is an add-on option, $30 for a full set and $20 for a fill!

CAN I USE LASH GROWTH PRODUCTS WHILE HAVING LASH EXTENSIONS?

Lash growth products that contain steroids change the composition of your lashes and accelerate your eyelash shedding cycle, therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome. Natural lash growth products containing peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of your extensions.

WILL I STILL NEED TO USE MASCARA?

No! And actually... using mascara over top of your lash extensions damages the curl.
